In this collection of short stories and novellas Fiona Roberts' style of writing keeps you turning the pages, wondering what is going to happen! I loved the 'Crystal Ball' - a really unusual story. Also loved 'The Truth about the Teeth' - spooky and funny too. In fact all the stories are unusual and great reads.
I've just finished reading this collection of short stories and I have to say I couldn't put it down. Loved every story, my personal favourite being the little story in the middle called 'Rex' about a dog. I love Fiona's style of writing, the way she builds up tension and leaves the hairs standing up on your neck. The Crystal Ball was a real page-turner, and 'The Truth about the Teeth' was so different to anything else I have ever read. This little collection of short stories is original, compelling, intriguing and leaves you wanting more ...
